Firms In Ekiti Closes Early Ahead Of
Election
In respect to the Governorship election coming up in Ekiti State on
July 14, most of the commercial banks in the state capital closed early.
A notice
that was pasted at the entrances of most banks in the state revealed that they
closed around 12pm.
Customers
were advised to make use of alternative means like ATMs, mobile- and internet
banking.
Many
customers were, noticeably, shocked on seeing the notices, forcing many to
lament, while some simply went to join the queues at the ATMs.
Many
schools in the state, including public and private, were shut throughout the
day.
The state
secretariat, were shut, while the expansive car park that used to be full of
vehicles was largely empty.
