THE REAL TEEN | ADELABU FAWASS

Life is so short, but you have to make it sweet!
My eyes are open to the world,
For the days, hours, months and years:
Spent with regrets, disappointments and distress
One which cannot be erased from one's mind.

Momma said to me, "you are somebody even without anybody".
The simple but convoluted expression escalates my mind from an unseen future.
The throne is hard to sit on,
Filled with nail, dagger and needle
No one is there to pull it out for me
My whole body  works in unison
Expelling the toxic substance.

      THE LAUGHTER
My smiles are unraveled by joy
For the esctatic moments spent with no anguish
The atmosphere which regulates one's mindset
Relieved and fortuitous
Then honour said to me "go in there and bring out the best in you".

      THE DISTRESS
My face is enjoined with both,
The distress and joy
Which will last long?
Yet my friends say "togetherness we move"
Ignited and undecided
For the fate is not in my hand
But written on my palm
The future is yet unseen by me but THE REAL  man who made  me a TEEN

Cheers to the TEEN that came peacefully.

Happy birthday to the TEEN that came from THE REAL HIM.

Happy birthday to me😋

We never can't tell what the twenty will look like, I hope you will write about that

  2. If I may ask who is your role model in writing, because your way of narrating a poem looks like that of Alfred Tennyson
