O, Mother…..
You welcomed me
From the world you know not;
Still emasculated from the labor
With pain in your eyes
With gladness you embraced me.
O, Mother….
You laughed at my almost arrival,
Cuddled me upon your succulent apples,
Gave me strength of the brains.
O, Mother…..
You paddled the canoe of life
For me to be myself and
For you to reap the labour.
O, Mother….
You stand for me when I am to blame,
Prayed for me in secret and in public.
Shed tears when I’m leaving you to stand alone.
So I could know what’s in the world of sins.
Sweet mother, forever you shall reap your labour.
