Hon. Gadaff Encourages SilentSound Magazine For Bold step taken to appreciate our girls and women on menstrual hygiene and sex education.

May 28 2021, SilentSound Magazine celebrated the World Menstrual Hygiene Day at 2 different secondary schools in Laduba of Asa Local government area of Kwara state where the students were enlightened on menstrual hygiene and sex education.

Menstruation, as natural as it seems cost girls and women alot and that cost is often neglected and never counted. Lack of access to menstrual products and the misconception that comes with it, often cost them their dignity, sanity and in most cases a violation of their human rights. As simple as a lack of menstrual pads exposes girl to countless reproductive health challenges, which in some cases translates into bigger complications in the future. For some girls, lacking access to menstrual pads and effective management cost them their education and continual access to schooling. For others it is their sexual dignity.

At the end of the program pads were distributed to more than 200 female  students in Ansaru Islam college and Cherubim and Seraphim Secondary school Laduba.

According to Mr Abiodun Labamba the founder of SilentSound Magazine "Dare to invest in people who don't have what it takes to thank you and see how God will take care of your problems". All thanks to Hon Sulaimon Lekan Gadaff, the leading Apc chairman Asa Local government aspirant for supporting our #1girl 1pads program and for making this possible.

SilentSound Magazine is saying kudos to the team for their relentless and selfless commitment to this project and other sponsors.

Let continue making an effort to help humanity.

Signed
