Why are you far away, O Lord?
Why do you hide yourself when we're in trouble?
Flush away this fearful flood,
Whose waves turned capable to gullible.
Falling fences of favourable families,
Trailing taming trillions of talents;
Like monsters mouthing malice,
As perilous as painful pests to the patients.
Discharging darkness to divine dominions
Waiting wickedly to worsen glories of innocent souls;
So close to you like caring companions,
But their smiles so shrinking from head to toes.
Seriously spying on their helpless victims
They catch them in their traps;
And so the dazzling dims,
Mightier murdered, millions moaning in their maps.
Highest heaven! punish these perilous peoples
Hear the cries of the oppressed,
Shower smiles on our downing dimples,
And lift the wings of the depressed.
Their bows beautifully brutally drawn
To shoot from the shadows at pious people
And their arrows aimed at your new dawn
Like dirges to delightful disciples.
The prosecuted ply in pain
O Father, silence those lurking leagues,
And gift us your conquering rain,
To shield yours from their persistent plagues.
This is beautiful
